"You will be an official representative of the Church . . . Your purpose will be to invite others to come unto Christ . . . Greater blessings and more happiness than you have yet experienced await you as you humbly and prayerfully serve the Lord in this labor of love among His children." . . . Thomas S. Monson

S.L.C. Airport Send-off and Phone Calls!

These sweet boys woke up extra early to come say
HELLO and GOODBYE to Elder Layton!
                                        Landon's good friends ~Tyler Poppe~ and ~Colby Jones~
Landon with his sis Jordan :)

A FEW PHONE CONVERSATION QUESTIONS...
Are you wearing your retainer?... Yes, every night.
What is your itunes password?...Why?... Because I am using your iphone and need to update some apps ;)
Have you spoken to anyone in French yet?... Not yet. I am not understanding much of what I am hearing haha.
I really think you should give your white watch to Jordan to bring home....Nope, it will be just fine. I am taking it.
Have you been airsick at all?... Not at all. Doing good.
I see you're wearing ties that aren't yours... We had a tie exchange at the MTC and I traded a couple of mine.
What was the BEST PART of the MTC?... My district for sure. I really love those guys. They were my family.
What was the WORST PART of the MTC?... Probably the first week.
What about the food at the MTC?... We would have ham for dinner, then ham and eggs for breakfast and then ham sandwiches for lunch. Then it starts all over with a different meat.
How many times did you sing, "Called to Serve"?... About 700 times!
What was your favorite treat you got at the MTC?... Scotcharoos. (Probably because I asked the question and I sent him some.)
How does it feel to be out of the MTC?... There are sinners everywhere! France has very suggestive printed matter around.
What did you eat on the plane?... Cheese and crackers. Pasta and salmon, that was actually pretty good.
Did you have a good seat on the plane?... Yes, window seat to NYC with an empty seat in the middle. Isle seat with 2 empty seats in the middle to Paris.
It was such a treat to talk with Landon throughout his travels! I sure do LoVe that boy!
